The “Circle City Classic,” is hosted every year here in Indianapolis. This is a celebration of cultural excellence and educational achievement, while showing spirit, energy, and tradition of America’s historically black colleges and universities. This year, the two Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Central State University and Kentucky State University, showcased their talents in the parade on the morning of September 26, 2015. Major African-American achievements were expressed throughout the two hours of fun, music, and happiness. The parade took place before the main event, where the two colleges CSU, and KSU, played football at Lucas Oil Stadium. Sororities, fraternities, college bands, dance teams, African cultures, and college football are all important to the city of Indianapolis. Each of them are supported and they all play a major part in this classical extravaganza.
