IUPUI Event Calendar

  1. October 10, 2015: The volleyball team will play the North Dakota State Bisons starting at 5:00 p.m. in The Jungle.   

  2. October 10, 2015: The Men’s Soccer team will play the Bowling Green Falcons starting at 7:00 p.m. at Carroll Stadium.

  3. October 12, 2015: The Cultural Arts Gallery and LGBTQ Student Alliance will be hosting an art lab in the Campus Center Atrium at 11:00 a.m.  

  4. October 12, 2015: The Honors College will be bringing Princess of Africa Yvonne Chaka Chaka to the Campus Center Rooms 450 A & B at 1:30 p.m.

  1. October 12, 2015:The Communications Studies department will be holding auditions for “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare” from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on October 12, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Cavanaugh Hall Room 003.

  2. October 13, 2015: As part of LGBT History Month, the Multicultural Center will be hosting a Food for Thought program in University College Room 115K at 12:00 p.m.

  3. October 14, 2015: as a part of LGBT History Month, the Social Justice Scholars will host a discussion titled “Same-Sex Marriage Legalized: What Now?” in the Campus Center Atrium at 11:00 a.m.

  4. October 14, 2015: Chancellor Nasser Paydar will be stopping by University College Room 115K as part the Multicultural Center’s Jagversation series at 12:00 p.m.

  5. October 14, 2015: The Students in Recovery of Indianapolis will be having a call out meeting in the Campus Center Room 409 at 3:00  p.m.

  6. October 14, 2015: The LGBT Faculty and Staff Council will be host a mixer at English Ivy’s at 4:30 p.m.

  7. October 14, 2015: The Asian Student Union will be hosting their annual CollaborAsian event in the Campus Center Atrium at 6:00 p.m. More information can be found here.

  8. October 15, 2015: as part of Philippine Heritage Month, the Filipino Student Association will be talking about and serving Filipino cuisine in the University College Room 2135 at 5:30 p.m.

  9. October 15, 2015: As a part of LGBT History Month the Student Activities Programing Board will be hosting  Ash Beckham in the Campus Center Theatre at 7:00 p.m.

  10. October 16, 2015: At 7:00 p.m., the Women’s Soccer team will play the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles at Carroll Stadium.

  11. October 16, 2015: The Performing Arts Club will be having a meeting in Cavanaugh Hall Room 003 at 11:30 a.m.

  12. October 18, 2015: the Men’s Soccer Team will be playing the IPFW Mastodons starting at 3:00 p.m. at Carroll Stadium.  

  13. October 22, 2015: The Student Activities Programming Board will be showing Jurassic Park at 3:00 p.m. and Jurassic World at 7:00 p.m. in the Campus Center Theatre. More information can be found here.

  14. October 22, 2015: As part of Philippine Heritage Month the Filipino Student Association will host a discussion titled “What Type of Filipino Are You?” in University College Room 2118 at 5:30 p.m.   

  15. October 22, 2015: As part of their Cultural Movie Series and LGBT History Month, the  Multicultural Center will be showing Transamerica in University College Room 115K at 6:00 p.m.

  16. October 23-24, 2015: The Campus Center will be hosting an event for the Model of Human Occupation on occupational therapy on the fourth floor.

    • Registration is open until October 16, 2015 and is $75.00 for students and $125.00 for professionals.

  17. October 23, 2015: The volleyball team will play the Western Illinois Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. in The Jungle.  



Off-Campus

  1. October 10, 2015: There will be a free art fair at Monument Circle starting at 10:00 a.m. More information can be found here.

  2. October 15, 2015: The Indianapolis Museum of Art will be having their Optical Popsicle: Infinity Variety Show at 8:00 p.m. More information can be found here.

    • Price is $15 for members and $20 for non-members

  3. October 16-18, 2015: Theatre on the Square will host their 3-day Crossroads Comedy Festival. More information can be found here.

    • Times: October 16, 2015 from 8:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

    • October 17, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. to midnight

    • October 18, 2015 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

  4. October 18, 2015: CITYOGA will be having a free meditation workshop at noon to 3:00 p.m. at 2442 Central Ave. Indianapolis, IN. More information can be found here.

  5. October 22, 2015:  The Historical Society will host a Pride in History discussion at 6:30 p.m. More information can be found here.

    • It’s $5.00 for members and $8.00 for non-members

  6. On October 23, 2015: At Fountain Square Theatre Building, there will be beginner swing dancing lessons by Naptown Stomp at 7:30 p.m. and entertainment by the “Starlighters Swing Band” at 8:30 p.m. More information can be found here.

    • Admission is $10.00 just to dance or $12.00 with the lesson.
