The Campus Citizen has obtained publicly available copies of the judicial notice, appellant brief, elections decisions, and the petition to the judiciary in the Collier v. Sope case. They don’t offer any insight into the court’s leanings, but they do set a deadline for when the court must decide whether it will hear the appeal or not.
After the undergraduate student government’s Election Committee disqualified the winning presidential ticket due to complaints of fraud and intimidation, Sope Ladapo and Michael Thompson appealed the decision to the Supreme Court of student government. The court will issue a decision as to whether they’ll hear the case by Wednesday, March 30 at 5:00 p.m..
The elections decisions are worth reading as it offers the most comprehensive explanation of the Elections Committee’s decisions.
